The Lamborghini Diablo SV, first unveiled at the 1995 Geneva Auto Show, marked the return of the "Super Veloce" moniker, a name last seen on the Miura SV. This model, built on the foundation of the standard Diablo, forwent the all-wheel-drive system of the Diablo VT in favor of rear-wheel drive, delivering a more engaging and raw driving experience.

Powered by a 5.7-liter V12 engine, the Diablo SV saw its output increased from 485 horsepower to 510 horsepower, a significant jump that underscored its performance focus. Managing this power required skill, as the rear-wheel-drive layout left no room for error. To ensure stability at higher speeds, Lamborghini fitted the SV with an adjustable rear wing, which could be finished in body color or raw carbon fiber. Interestingly, a few examples were delivered without the rear wing, making them even more distinctive.

The SV also received a series of subtle yet striking design updates. Black tail lamp surrounds and repositioned rear fog and reverse lights distinguished the rear of the car, while additional front brake cooling ducts and the double-vented engine lid, borrowed from the SE30 Jota, gave the car a racy, aggressive aesthetic. Optional "SV" graphics on the sides further amplified its presence.

This 1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV, chassis number 12951, is finished in rare Argento Titanio (Titanium Silver) over a black leather interior. It is one of just 89 Diablo SV examples delivered to the U.S. market, making it exceptionally rare. The car is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, the iconic carbon fiber rear wing, factory Diablo SV wheels, and a front suspension lift system. The interior features carbon fiber trim and door sills, along with an upgraded Alpine stereo system. The original SV graphics on the sides complete the car’s striking appearance. This Diablo SV is in stunning concours condition, with only 5,663 miles.
