More details
This 2001 Ferrari 550 Barchetta, number 334 of just 448 produced, shows one of Ferrari’s greatest limited-production vehicles. Delivered new to Eberkein Automobile in Kassel, Germany, it was ordered in Blue Tour de France over Grigio Scuro leather.. The 550 Barchetta marked Ferrari’s celebration of open-air V12 driving, blending their heritage of front-engine grand tourers with a bold, modern roadster layout.
Designed by Pininfarina, the Barchetta featured unique styling elements that distinguished it from the standard 550 Maranello. Its shortened windshield, speedster-style rear deck, and roll hoops gave it a purposeful, race-inspired aesthetic, while the lack of a conventional roof emphasized its exclusivity. Ferrari engineered the car with a focus on lightweight performance and spirited driving, resulting in a pure connection between driver and machine.
This example is accompanied by its original books, service invoices, and the factory-supplied bags containing two helmets. This car also has its Ferrari Classiche red book. It is equipped with a Tubi Style exhaust, though the original exhaust system is included.
This 550 Barchetta is an amazing example of one of the 448 produced because of its rare color combination, Ferrari Classiche Certification and under 1,000km.
