Manager, Social Media & Content

Backstory of CURATED

Founded in 2015 by John Temerian and Jordi Ricart, CURATED specializes in Vintage Blue Chip Automobiles, low-production cars from the 1970s to the early 2000s. We believe the automobile can be a consistent alternative investment and focus on sourcing, storytelling, restoration, and exceptional client experiences. Marketing plays a central role in elevating the brand and reaching the right audiences at scale.

Job Summary

We’re hiring a senior, hands-on Social Media Manager to own CURATED’s day-to-day social presence and channel growth. You’ll set creative direction and systems, produce/film/edit short-form content, lead community and creator activations, and serve as the primary social operator, stepping into long-form production when needed. You’ll own monthly reporting and experiments that move KPIs, and partner closely with Events, Product, and Sales to tie content directly to inventory, activations, and revenue. The ideal candidate has strong aesthetic judgment, a deep passion for vintage supercars, and an understanding of the luxury market and how to present premium experiences on social.

Key responsibilities

  • Own daily social publishing, community management, and channel optimization for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts / Community, and LinkedIn.
  • Produce and edit high-quality short-form content; shoot inventory and on-location content as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the long-form team to ensure content cohesion (cross-posting, hooks, repurposing longform into shorts).
  • Build and maintain the weekly content calendar and ensure asset delivery to production teams.
  • Create and deliver a monthly performance report with insights, recommendations, and action items.
  • Maintain weekly metrics tracking and a simple dashboard (views, engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversions).
  • Design and run creative tests and iterate quickly on format, hook, timing, and CTAs.
  • Coordinate with Events, Partnerships, and Product/Inventory teams to promote activations (Rally, documentary, international event).
  • Manage social tool workflows (scheduling, native uploads, captions, UGC tracking) and maintain publishing SOPs.
  • Mentor and guide freelance editors or contractors when engaged for shoots or edits.
  • Ensure brand voice, usage clearances, and image rights are followed for influencer and partner content.
  • Serve as the primary backup for long-form production: step in to shoot, post, or manage uploads when the long-form producer is unavailable.

Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years in social media management and content creation (video-first experience required).
  • Proven ability to produce and edit short-form video (phone/camera shooting and mobile + desktop editing).
  • Experience growing and engaging audiences across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Comfortable stepping into production: running small shoots or uploading long-form assets.
  • Strong copywriting skills for captions, hooks, and CTAs.
  • Familiar with scheduling & analytics tools (native platform analytics, Sprout/Later/Creator Studio, GA4 basics).
  • Organized project manager: experienced with Airtable, content calendars, and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator — experience working with producers, events, and external talent.
  • Required: Deep passion for cars (vintage & supercars) and strong understanding of the luxury market.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with creator deal structures (paid vs. trade) and basic contract terms.
  • Basic motion graphics / After Effects skills or the ability to work closely with motion editors.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance contribution.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Quarterly company retreats and creative offsites (team bonding + personal goal setting).
