The Lamborghini Diablo GT Jota P01 is a one-off factory-built racecar developed for Noritake, a VIP client of Automobili Lamborghini. Delivered on March 20, 1995, this example was constructed to Japanese GT racing specifications and is noted in factory records as “Sport,” alongside two other special builds commissioned by Noritake.

Chassis RLA12996 was built on an early pre-production Diablo SE30 chassis and is believed to be one of the first racing cars developed in-house by Lamborghini. It introduced the Jota intake system that would later define the SE30 Jota upgrade package, making it the first Diablo to carry what became one of Lamborghini’s most recognizable performance features.

This car holds a unique place in Lamborghini history. In addition to its technical significance, it was photographed by the Automobili Lamborghini press department and featured in the official factory yearbook, cementing its role as a milestone development vehicle.

The Diablo GT Jota P01 stands at the intersection of Lamborghini’s transition into motorsport and the evolution of the Diablo platform, representing a rare glimpse into the brand’s early efforts at purpose-built competition machinery.
