More details
Delivered new to Lease Plan in France on June 7, 1996, this SVR was the 24th example built of the Diablo SVR racecars. Though originally finished in Rosso, the car was soon transformed with a distinctive American flag livery.
Owned by a private collector from Florida, the car became a standout in the Lamborghini Supertrophy series. The owner traveled from the United States to Europe for each round of the championship, where professional driver David Velay piloted SVR #024 to multiple victories, including overall wins.
With its bold Stars and Stripes livery and strong on-track performance, this Diablo SVR became one of the most recognizable and photographed entries in the series, representing Lamborghini’s first dedicated factory racing program.
