More details
The Diablo 6.0 VT marked the final evolution of Lamborghini’s iconic V12 supercar before production ended in October 2001. Following Audi’s acquisition of Lamborghini, Luc Donckerwolke was tasked with refining Marcello Gandini’s original design, introducing new carbon fiber body panels, magnesium wheels, a wider front track, an updated interior, and the final 550-horsepower 6.0-liter V12. Limited to just 334 examples worldwide, the 6.0 remains the most developed and desirable production Diablo.
Chassis #LA12717 was delivered new through Affolter Lamborghini in Switzerland in March 2001. Finished in Nero Pegaso over a complete Nero leather interior, it is one of just 44 Diablo 6.0s produced in this striking metallic black finish. Developed specifically for the 6.0, Nero Pegaso became one of the model’s signature colors.
Showing approximately 11,000 miles from new, this Diablo has been meticulously maintained throughout its life with documented servicing between Lamborghini Stuttgart and Lamborghini Porrentruy. Accompanied by its books, tools, records, and factory accessories, chassis #12717 represents an exceptionally well-preserved example of the final and most refined chapter of the Diablo story.
