As a die hard Lamborghini Diablo enthusiast my favorite example was always the SE30. It is Lamborghini’s F40, it is unique, fast and absolutely insane. That being said, it is completely impractical, crude and just raw.

Last year, Curated had the opportunity to purchase two incredible Diablo 6.0 examples. Both very low mileage cars, in great colors, both sold very quickly. I knew nice Diablo 6.0 examples with low miles were hard to find, but I did not realize how much I would love driving and admiring a 6.0 car.

The most obvious difference of the Diablo 6.0 from any other Lamborghini to ever leave the Sant’Agata, is its impeccable fit, finish and detail. Almost every part of the Diablo 6.0 was redefined for its inception in 2000 and almost 60% of the car is built from some of the most incredible Carbon Fiber work I have seen. The underside of front hood, rear bonnet, interior facia panels and engine bay are all stunning exposed gloss carbon.

The 6.0 design also features model specific wheels, a “new” clean rear end and the most stunning interior appointments of arguably any Lamborghini produced to date. Aluminum bezels surround all the gauges, buttons and switches inside the cabin and the shift knob and shift gate are a work of art.

While visually stunning, refined and clean, somehow the Diablo 6.0 driving experience is smooth, linear and tight compared to all of the other bold and ferocious V12 supercars produced to date. Less than 140 cars were produced for the USA and arguably 50% or less are truly collector quality grade.

The Diablo 6.0 marks the end of an era for Lamborghini, yet is also marks arguably the most well rounded and refined V12 supercar ever produced by the famous brand.

We recently acquired a stunning 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 in Arancio Borealis over Black leather. 1 of 14+/- documented Arancio Borealis (Orange Metallic) cars produced. A collector quality example with 9,000 original miles, Original paint, all serviced and incredibly original. It comes complete with books, tool pouch and records from day 1.
