More details
The 991.2 GT2 RS represents the final and most extreme evolution of the turbocharged, rear-wheel-drive 911. At launch, Porsche reset expectations for a production road car when the GT2 RS recorded a 6:47.3 Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time, firmly establishing its place among the defining performance cars of its era. Combining a 700-horsepower twin-turbocharged flat-six with a lightweight Weissach specification and rear-wheel-drive chassis, the GT2 RS delivered a level of performance unmatched within the contemporary 911 range.
Chassis WP0AE2A94JS186033 was delivered new through Porsche Atlanta Perimeter in Atlanta, Georgia, the same dealership listed on the original Monroney sticker. Pre-delivery and maintenance inspections were completed on December 19, 2018, at just 13 miles before the car entered its first ownership. Finished in Guards Red over Black and Black/Red Alcantara, this example was heavily optioned from the factory with the Weissach Package, 20/21-inch magnesium wheels, Extended Range Fuel Tank, Chrono Package with Lap Trigger preparation, LED headlights in black, and numerous Alcantara interior appointments, contributing to an original MSRP of $337,310.
In September 2019, the car entered private ownership in Montana, where it would remain carefully preserved over the following several years. Service during this period was handled through Reno Rennsport in Nevada, including replacement of the battery cable terminal and powertrain control module at 309 miles in December 2019, followed by a comprehensive oil service at 430 miles in May 2020. Over roughly two years of ownership, the car accumulated fewer than 175 additional miles, reflecting an unusual level of long-term preservation even within the GT2 RS market.
The current owner acquired the car in Georgia in early 2023. Shortly thereafter, a comprehensive service was completed at Hennessy Porsche in Roswell, Georgia, at 1,160 miles. Work included a full maintenance inspection, four-wheel alignment, brake fluid flush, oil and filter service, serpentine belt replacement, spark plug replacement, tire inspection, and detailing. Curated subsequently serviced the car in Miami in April 2026.
Today, the car presents with 1,750 miles from new at the time of cataloging, though photos may reflect slightly lower mileage taken prior to listing preparation. The car benefits from a full-body paint protection film installation preserving its original Guards Red finish. The factory magnesium wheels remain in place, while a Klien exhaust system has been fitted as a considered modification. The CARFAX reflects continuous service history, three private owners from new, and no reported accidents, structural damage, airbag deployment, or odometer discrepancies.
Accompanying the car are its original Monroney sticker, owner’s manuals, documentation portfolio, CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and additional supporting records. Exceptionally specified from new and preserved to a standard rarely seen among modern Porsche halo cars, chassis 6033 represents a highly original and carefully maintained example of Porsche’s definitive water-cooled GT2 RS.
