More details
The Maserati MC12 stands among the most exclusive homologation specials ever produced. Developed to satisfy FIA GT requirements for Maserati’s return to international competition, the MC12 was built in a strictly limited run of just 50 road-going examples. Sharing its carbon fiber monocoque architecture and naturally aspirated V12 foundation with the Ferrari Enzo, the MC12 was nevertheless a distinct machine, engineered with its own bodywork, aerodynamic philosophy, and racing purpose. Today, it remains one of the rarest and most important supercars of the modern era.
Chassis ZAMDF44B000012088 was delivered new in Singapore and remains finished in its original Bianco Fuji and Blu color combination. The accompanying warranty card records its first owner, while engine number 000025 is documented in the original service book, positioning this example precisely at the midpoint of the 50-car production run. Both factory PPG paint identification tags remain present and legible, confirming the car retains its original factory specification.
By 2008, the car had transitioned to Europe, where it would remain for the next two decades. Service records document maintenance in Germany before the MC12 entered long-term Swiss custodianship. From 2016 onward, the history is continuously supported by service booklet entries from marque specialists and authorized dealer facilities throughout Switzerland, including scheduled maintenance completed as recently as February 2025. The stamped service book reflects a consistent mileage progression over seventeen years and remains housed within its original MC12-branded documentation portfolio.
Today, the car presents with just 17,841 kilometers from new at the time of cataloging. The original carbon fiber monocoque, original Cambiocorsa transmission, and original factory paint specification remain intact. Accompanying the car are its original warranty card, owner’s service books, sales and service organization booklet, Swiss registration documents, mechanical code key, original tool kit, and supporting documentation.
As one of only 50 road-going examples produced, the MC12 occupies a unique position within both Maserati and Ferrari history. Engine number 000025, documented ownership history spanning Singapore and Switzerland, continuous specialist servicing, and highly original presentation combine to make chassis 2088 an exceptional example of one of the most important homologation cars of the twenty-first century.
