More details
The 1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV marked the final evolution of the Super Veloce before the Diablo’s production ended, featuring aggressive styling updates and mechanical refinements. As a rear-wheel-drive variant with a 5.7-liter V12 producing 530 horsepower, the SV offered a raw, engaging driving experience compared to its all-wheel-drive stablemates.
This example, finished in Giallo over Nero, is one of the rare 1999 models and was delivered new to racing legend Mario Andretti, adding to its significance. With 9,300 miles from new, it remains a well-preserved piece of Lamborghini history.
The Diablo SV received several updates, including black tail lamp surrounds, repositioned rear fog and reverse lamps, and additional front brake cooling ducts. The distinctive double-vent engine lid, previously seen on the SE30 JOTA, gave the SV a more aggressive stance. A large adjustable rear wing, either color-matched or in exposed carbon fiber, became standard, though a few cars left the factory without it. The bold "SV" graphics were optional, allowing for a more understated look on some models. This car came with no side SV graphics.
