More details
Delivered new to Austin, Texas on May 30, 2005, this Porsche Carrera GT is finished in the iconic launch specification of GT Silver Metallic over Dark Grey leather. One of just 644 U.S.-delivery examples produced, the Carrera GT remains one of the last truly analog supercars ever built, combining a naturally aspirated V10 derived from Porsche’s Le Mans prototype program with a six-speed manual transmission and carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
First revealed as a concept at the 2000 Paris Motor Show, the Carrera GT quickly became Porsche’s ultimate road-going expression of motorsport engineering. Its 5.7-liter V10, lightweight construction, inboard suspension, ceramic clutch, and uncompromising driving experience have firmly established the model as one of the most important performance cars of the modern era.
Showing just 419 miles from new at the time of cataloging, chassis #0855 has remained carefully preserved throughout its life and presents today as a true time capsule example. The car is complete with its original books, factory luggage set, accessories, and accompanying documentation.
In 2023, the car received its important engine-out service. Most recently, Champion Porsche completed the factory recall campaign in 2025, including installation of the updated Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, ensuring the car is fully up to date mechanically.
Today, this Carrera GT presents in exceptional “as-new” condition and offers collectors the opportunity to acquire an extraordinarily low-mileage and properly serviced example of Porsche’s definitive halo car.
